 HOW OUR TWO STEP PROCESS WORKS:

Apply one of our Step One Rubs, (Either the Base Coat or Texas Style) and allow spices to permeate deep into the meat to create a natural exterior “sweat” binder. Wait at least 10 minutes for the magic to happen, then generously layer with one of our Step Two Rubs for maximum flavor and incredible color. By separating the two different layers and steps, you’ve locked in flavor internally with the Step One Rub, while still being able to apply as much Step Two Rub as desired − all without over salting. If you're trying us for the first time, we highly recommend getting both!
